Story Line Of The Novel

This novel tells a story of a young woman whose name is Samatha Sweeting,  she is a top Lawyer in a London.

She is a workaholic and can work under pressure, all was going well in her job until she made on a big mistake that ruined her career.

When she discovered that she had lost fifty million pounds for her client couldn’t face her bosses so decided to go for a walk outside the office and she decided to get into a train and finds herself in the middle of nowhere.

She finds herself in front of a beautiful big country house being mistaken as a housekeeper, she is offered a job as a housekeeper.

She is faced with either going back to her old job as a lawyer where she messed up big time or she could take this position of being a housekeeper which she knew nothing about.

She decided to accept the job offer as a housekeeper.

She struggled at first as she did not know how to do basic house cleaning tasks.

Eventually with a little help from the gaderner, she starts to like her new job.

Will she ever go back and become a lawyer again?

What I Thought About This Novel

This novel is a good read, I really like the way the storyline develops.

Having read a few novels by Sophie Kinsella full of comedy and drama, she did not disappoint me on this novel.

The novel has a bit of romance which I enjoyed.

I recommend this book to everyone who likes to read a bit of comedy and drama.
