Its that time of the month again when I share with you an update of what we saved this month towards our savings for buying our first house.
This Month Savings
During the month of September, we managed to save £655 towards our goal. So far we are happy with the progress as this is our second month we have managed to save £50 extra on top of our £605 monthly saving goal.
Putting that extra money to our savings goal when we can, helps us to save faster and it will also help us to reach our goal earlier than our projection of 4 years.
Here is what we have saved so far our target is to reach £34 500 in the next 4 years.

Still Reducing Our Grocery Money.
We decided to try shopping our grocery in the reduced section of our grocery shop.
This has certainly reduced our grocery money as most things sold in the reduced section are usually marked down up to 90% of the original price so there were huge saving there.
We will continue shopping in the reduced section of our grocery shop once a week just before we do our weekly big grocery shopping so that we can plan our meals for the week easily.
