How We Are Saving More Than Our Set Monthly Savings
So this month we managed to top up our monthly saving goal of £605 by £50 to make the savings of this month £655. Hooray! We have done great, haven’t we?
We like to top up our savings when we have extra money from our budget. This helps us to reach our goal faster and we will be able to save more money too.
How We Are Reducing Grocery Money By Trying Other Brands
We are trying to scrutinize our spending budget every month for this month we are still working on ways of reducing our grocery. We started last month working hard on reducing our grocery.
So far we have managed to reduce our grocery money from £80 to £70 each week our aim is to reach £50 a week.
This month we have tried our some supermarkets own brand grocery items. Some of the items we liked and we will be definitely be swapping for our usual brands.
Unfortunately not all supermarket brands went a treat in or house, we did not like some of them. We found out that sometimes its worth it to pay a little bit extra on some of our grocery items.
Trying out some supermarkets brands helped us to save a little bit of money as supermarket own brand items are usually inexpensive as compared to any other brands.
During the coming months will continue to find ways we can reduce our grocery shopping even more. I sharing with you any tips and advise along the journey so stay tuned.
