Trams are environmentally friendly they are powered by electricity and therefore do not emit toxic exhaust fumes.
Trams are also quieter than petrol or diesel vehicles they have far less noise pollution to the environment and they can carry a large number of passengers.
4. Change Your Driving Style.

Here are some habits for bad driving that you could change.

- Driving with air conditioner on
- Driving in high traffic
- Driving in higher speed,
- Driving with unnecessary weight
5. Car Pool To Work
If you have work friends and they live local why not arrange a car club for sharing a lift to and from work.
This arrangement will save you on the fuel as 5 people can travel in one car instead of having each person in his or her car.
This is also good for the environment as there will be less cars traveling the same route every day which means less exhaust emissions in the air.
6. Buying An Electric Car
If you can afford to buy an electric car that is great. Electric cars are great although they cost more at first than fuel or diesel cars, in the long run, they are cheaper to run.
Another added advantage is that with an electric car you will soon be given a higher priority in the roads as their will be an introduction of electric vehicles-only lane across the country starting in Nottingham.
